THE PLATINUM JUBILEE

PLEASE NOTE: This event is now fully booked. We are sorry that we cannot offer additional tickets. However, the lighting of St Mary’s church tower is completely free. Please join us from 9.30pm. At 9.45pm we will turn on the lights.

An evening of live light music, Prosecco and puddings

Featuring:

The Family Music Makers singing songs from around the Commonwealth (including Wimoweh – South Africa, Rivers of Babylon – Caribbean, When I’m 64 – England)

Piano medley featuring popular songs from the last 70 years  (including Hey Jude, Rhythm of Life,  Love changes every-
thing, We’ll meet again
)

The Madukas singing a gospel song

£10 per adult, children under 16 years free.

(Ticket price includes a glass of Prosecco/soft drink and a Jubilee pudding or cheese & biscuits) 

This special evening will culminate in the lighting up of the St Mary’s Church Tower* and joining with choirs around the world to sing the ‘Song for the Commonwealth’

Dress code: come in purple or patriotic colours!

All proceeds help fund the upkeep of St Mary’s Church
*Special effect Lighting provided by Encore supported by a Jubilee grant from Denham Parish Council

Queen’s Green Canopy Tree planted in our churchyard.

SEVEN ROYAL VESTRY TEAS

Dates: 5, 12, 26 June, 3, 10, 17 July and 11 September, always 3-5pm

We are excited to bring back Vestry Teas at St Mary’s
for seven Sundays this year. Some will be hosted by local charities.
All ages are welcome. Child friendly activities will be available.
