Life Groups
A Lifegroup is a small group of three or more people who meet regularly to build lasting friendships and grow spiritually. You’ll chat, study the Bible and pray together.
Groups can come in all shapes and sizes — mixed groups, men, women, young adults, families — and meet at a variety of times – weekdays, mornings, evenings. We would love everyone in the church family to be part of a lifegroup. We’re just starting out, but you can help us get there. If there isn’t a group that fits, why not explore with us starting another one? Currently we have two lifegroups:
The Well
When – Monday evenings, every other week, 8.00-9.30pm
Where – St Mark’s, Denham Green – Click here for directions.
What to expect
The Well is about exploring the Bible together, finding out more about Jesus and making new friends. It’s open to all and there is no commitment to come back, although we truly hope you will. Before our lifegroup there is a short time of evening prayer – join us either for prayer at 7.30pm or for refreshments and Bible study at 8pm.
19.30 – 20.00 Evening Prayer with informal sung worship
20.00 – 20.15 Refreshments
20.15 – 21.30 Bible study in small groups
(In weeks between lifegroups, we still meet for evening prayer from 7.30-8.00 pm, followed by refreshments).
Lifegroup dates this term: 6 Nov, 20 Nov, 4 Dec, 18 Dec
Life Group For Women
When – Monday mornings, weekly (except holidays), 10am-12noon
Where – The Rectory, Denham Village – Click here for directions
What to expect
This group for women of all ages is all about growing in friendship and faith. We first chat over a cup of coffee, then have a time of sung worship, followed by some Bible input (sometimes on video), discussion and prayer for one another. It’s open to all ladies and there is no commitment to come back, although we truly hope you will.
