Ideas for embedding the healthy habit of worship in your life
“Worship isn’t just one thing. It’s expressed in so many ways: in prayerful thanksgiving, in serving others with love, in showing mercy and patience the way Jesus did, and even in quiet moments of awe where words fall away and we simply rest in God’s presence. Romans 12 even frames our everyday lives as worship when we offer ourselves to God.” Nicola Morrison, Editor of IDEA magazine.
Pray the Examen at the end of the day
It can take only 2 minutes (while brushing teeth – 4 times 30 seconds) or longer.
(1) Replay the day in your mind. What are you noticing? How did you feel.
(2) Rejoice: Thank God for the good things.
(3) Repent: Say sorry, where things went wrong.
(4) Reboot: Make a decision to live for Jesus tomorrow.

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2
