Prayers for Friday 7th May 2021

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”

Hebrews 13:15.

A GIFT BEFITTING THE KING!

Often the most priceless gift we can offer God is not our money – that may be necessary for the ministry and the needy; not our bodies – the sacrifice of Jesus’ body on the cross is more than adequate. Praising God with all our hearts, especially in tough times, is the most precious single act that assures God of our loyalty to Him. Hence, regardless of the situation, let us praise GOD.

 Pray that no situation will stop you from praying to God always :

Almighty and ever living God, we thank you for bringing us to the month of May.

The universe and the human inhabited earth are yours. You order our times and seasons. We acknowledge your sovereignty over all things: creation, time and space, matter and immaterial, seen and unseen, etc. You are the all seeing, all knowing and the most powerful God.

Trusting in your loving kindness and unfailing love, we commit the month of May into your able hands.

Lord God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we put our hands into yours this month, guide us, keep us and feed us for we have no help but you. Bless us and make us channels of blessings to others. Give peace in our time; for there’s no other that fights for us but only you O Lord. Anoint our heads with oil and cause our cups to overflow. May your goodness and mercies follow us this month of May and always. We pray in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
