Our local community support group have just set up another foodbank, operating from the May Coles Room of the Village Memorial Hall in Denham Village.
They are taking donations at the Village Hall on Monday’s 9-11 and Thursdays 2-4 or any time to 17 Ashcroft Drive.
Hillingdon Foodbank has a warehouse / outlet in 30 Oxford Road, UB9 4DQ. They are open from 11 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday.
Due to the current crisis requests for help with food have gone up and they are asking whether we can help with food donations. Here is what they write:
Please would you appeal for people to donate food, however small, when they shop
in their supermarkets to ease the situation.
They could also take their donations to the

Tinned meats and chicken
Tinned fish (all types)
Tinned fruit
Tinned tomatoes
Tinned vegetables
Tinned potatoes
Packets of Potato Mash
Pasta sauce
Long life milk
Long life fruit drinks Apple,orange,grapefruit etc.
Tea and Coffee.
Packets of rice
Noodles
500g and 1kg Granulated sugar
