Dear friends,
We will have THREE services on Sunday 29 June at St Mary’s:
9am Holy Communion
10.30am Morning Service (with livestream)
6.00pm Evenin Prayer followed by refreshments.
At 9am and 10.30am we will explore what has been called “The Quiet Revival” – evidence that young people are coming back to faith and church. We will learn what a recent survey of the Bible Society has shown and then ask – how can we respond? At 10.30am we will interview Tim Macqueen, a young adult and member of our church family.
10.30am will be streamed live on Youtube.
Then, at 6pm we will have a one-off service of evening prayer, where we will be welcoming the candidate for associate minister. The candidate will preach a short sermon and after the service you will have a chance to meet the candidate over light refreshments.
It would be a great help if you let us know in advance that you are coming to evening prayer, so we can prepare enough refreshments!
Of you course you can also simply turn up.
I am attaching the service sheet with bible readings and announcements for the morning.
All the best,
