Christmas Eve: Christingle Crib Service at 4.00 pm
Our Christingle Crib Service is when Christmas truly begins! A service for all ages with the famous orange. This year we are going online to make sure there is a place for everyone! In our service we give a special welcome to babies born in 2020!

Candle-lit Carols at St Mary’s today cancelled
A Message from our Rector, Christoph Lindner:
When we were planning our Advent and Christmas services we decided to put a lot of energy into our online offering as services in our church building might not be possible by the time Christmas arrives. While tier-4 rules do allow church services, it became clear very quickly yesterday that we would not have the required team to do a candle-lit carol justice. Sadly, we are therefore cancelling our candle-lit carol service at St Mary’s.
However:
Our online community carol service today at 4pm will be fantastic! So many contributions from around our community and from some special guests, and we filmed it all in a candle-lit St Mary’s church over the course of the last week – the opening sequence will take us into our beautiful church – virtually.
Christmas is not cancelled, although it will look different.
