WEEK TWO: PHYSICAL WELLBEING

Sunday 14 Feb

Your body matters

Our most basic needs are physiological (i.e. related to the body): food, water, air, rest. Managing energy, not time, is the key to vitality and effectiveness in all areas of our lives. God has given us a body and in Jesus Christ chose to become like us – a physical human being! Your body matters! Thank God for your body and ask him to help you as you explore greater physical wellbeing.

Prayers Friday 29th January 2021

Prayers for today Friday 29th January

This week more than 100,000 people have died from Corona virus.
In love we remember them in our prayers today:
In your hands, O Lord,
we humbly entrust all we are connected to ( mention their names) who have gone to be with you Lord.
In this life you embraced them with your tender love;
We now bid them eternal rest.
The old order has passed away:
welcome them home
where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain,
but fullness of peace and joy
with your Son and the Holy Spirit
forever and ever.
We pray for those mourning the death of these beloved ones:
Lord God,
you are attentive  to the voice
of our pleading.
Help those who mourn to find in your Son
comfort in their sadness,
certainty in their doubt,
and courage to live through this period of grief. May the never mourn like people without hope.
Make their faith strong
through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Health workers all over the world are severely pressed right now.
Lord Jesus please surround all Heath workers with your love, heal, strengthen and encourage them. May they know your presence and your peace.
At every rainfall, there is always peace for the grass, may we continue to experience peace in every area of our life despite the challenges life throws at us.
God Almighty is able to turn our impossibilities to possibilities, and give us a new song.
We pray for great testimonies and miracles that will change the situation of things, the miracle that will wipe our tears, the miracle that will make us burst into laughter and dancing,  may we be visited with it today in Jesus Mighty Name.
