A growth (not fixed) mindset

A faith (not fear) mindset
Faith is closely linked with trust. We need to put our faith in God, who alone is completely trustworthy and reliable. Feed your faith (spend regular time in God’s word) and starve your fears (2 Tim 1.7, James 4.7-8). Write down your primary fears, invite God to show you the reasons for your greatest fear. Then command the fear to go in Jesus’ name.

Depleted or replenished?
There is good tired (after a good workout or a long and productive day) and bad tired. Chronic fatigue is dangerous! Take a few moments to pray and thank God that he understands our humanity. As you go through your day, check your fatigue levels. Invite God to refresh you and to teach you rhythms of replenishment.

Tuesday 9 Feb
Security and belonging
People who have a sense of security and belonging are more likely to weather the storms of life. “The key to understanding security is learning to relate to the eternal, not the temporal.” (Dr Neil Anderson) Make two lists: things you can control and things you can’t control. Make sure the goals you set yourself are from the list of things you can control. Commit all other things to God and his care.

Identity
We tend to look for our identity in the wrong places: by comparing ourselves with other people or by looking within ourselves. True identity comes from an ever-growing relationship with our loving God who alone can satisfy our deepest needs. Take a look at an “In Christ” declaration and make it your own.
